Our new study -- The Gospel of Matthew -- will begin on September 9th 2024.
The gospel of Matthew will open our eyes to the following questions: What/Who is the Kingdom of God? Who is Jesus Christ? What does it mean to be a devoted follower of God? Matthew, a disciple/apostle of Jesus Christ and an unclean Jewish tax collector, recounts the Jewish (and Gentile) struggle with accpeting Jesus as Messiah in a world filled with tradition and cultural/political conflict in the Grecco-Roman empire. Matthew's gospel includes a 5-sermon structure that seeks to prove God's redemptive purposes from Genesis to the advent of Jesus Christ. How can we be sure that Jesus is truly Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23) -- God with us? Join us as we experience God's incredible goodness, grace, and love as he sends his Son to redeem and save humanity from the fallen world.
